I have worked in education for the last 30 years and have previously been a principal of two secondary schools in Yorkshire as well as a resource writer for the BBC and inspector for Ofsted. As a fluent English, Spanish and French speaker, I am passionate about teaching Modern Foreign Languages. The Sanako story began in 1961 when Tandberg, a predecessor of Sanako, created and installed the world's first language laboratory. How I got involved
When Sanako changed to a 'Regional Distributor' business model around 10 years ago, Sanako UK was created. Sanako UK acquired the sole distributor rights for the UK and Ireland. Having worked as an MFL Consultant and Associate of Sanako UK for the last three years, the retirement of the former owner created the opportunity for me to buy the business. Having always had very positive experiences of Sanako products, both as an MFL teacher and an Associate, it was an opportunity not to be missed.
Customer first
I fully understand the pressures teachers face: rising expectations, shifting curricula and never enough time. Sanako changes that. The quality and inherent features of Sanako products not only makes learning a language really enjoyable, it saves huge amounts of time in resource development and student assessments. Our products are being enhanced all the time, with feature developments informed and led by our customers.
How much?
We know that budgets are under pressure, particularly discretionary expenditure. Clearly costs do vary from product to product and getting the best out of our software could also mean investing in additional hardware. Never-the-less, we think you will be genuinely surprised at how affordable our products are. I am always happy to discuss different packages to help you manage your costs.
