SANAKO Lab 300
SANAKO Lab 300 enhances teaching effectiveness, gives teachers new
functionalities to help create different teaching exercises, and makes
class management and control easier.
Students benefit from tools that help them focus on developing oral
proficiency in the foreign language and also creates stimulating new
class activities.
SANAKO Lab 300 v 9.0 New Features
The new versions of SANAKO Lab 300 introduce a podcasting feature to
help teachers make more digital learning material available for
students.
The solution allows teachers to easily upload digitized or existing MP3
material to the VLE for students to access online, thus extending
learning possibilities.
By making classroom and home study material available on the Internet,
teachers can more easily integrate classroom learning with independent
study. Online material also supports on-demand learning, allowing
students to access resources as needed.
Podcasting in SANAKO Lab 300 offers many benefits:
- Allows school to extend learning opportunities beyond the classroom
- Materials used in lab can be accessed for off-campus exercises or self study
- Materials can be used with different SANAKO solutions
- Makes effective use of the Internet to extend learning opportunitie
- Integrates popular, easily available media resources into the language lab
- Allows for use of podcasts on mobile learning devices alongside language labs
- Supports self-evaluation and peer evaluation of student recordings
Enhancements offer important usage benefits
Other enhancements to SANAKO Lab 300 include simplified video
streaming possibilities, with the integration of the Video Live module;
the ability to launch files for students in mark-to-speak mode; and the
ability to define which Media Assistant features teachers wish to
deactivate in Exam mode.
Teachers can now save time by launching the voice insert function
(mark-to-speak) for students, giving them greater control over this
useful teaching feature.
SANAKO Lab 300 - Ahead of its Class
SANAKO Lab 300 allows teachers to automatically remove certain
functions from the students’ Media Assistant application by selecting
the "Exam Mode". This allows the teacher to set up the controlled
environment required for testing students’ language abilities – they
can no longer use features such as variable speed, bookmarks or the
voice graph for assistance.
Saving text chat
Saving and printing of text chat sessions sets up additional
opportunities for learning, review and self-assessment, allowing
teachers and students to get maximum benefit from this interactive
activity. Teachers can review the contents of such sessions to monitor
and correct students’ usage of language, while learners themselves can
review the material for self-correction and additional independent
study.
Fast digitization of teaching material
Eliminating the need for specialized digitization programs, the
Fast-Digitize feature allows teachers to quickly convert analog
material to digitized resources, preserving and enhancing the value of
years of valuable teaching material.
Variable speed playback for student convenience
A real bonus for students and teachers in the learning environment,
this feature lets students reduce the playback speed of learning
material if they are having difficulty following. It puts more control
in students’ hands, encouraging them to become more active partners in
the learning process, and also offers teachers more opportunities for
focusing on individual needs.
Create Teaching and Learning Opportunities - Anywhere, Anytime!
The ability to package a series of files using SANAKO Media
Assistant means that teachers can create exercises outside of the
language lab environment – even at home! And in cases where students
also have Media Assistant Lite, the opportunities for learning can be
expanded beyond the classroom walls.
