SANAKO Lab 100 STS - Simultaneous Interpretation Training System

SANAKO has introduced its Simultaneous Interpretation Training System (STS), which combines the language training functionalities of SANAKO Lab 100 with the essential features of an interpretation training facility, to instruct students in the techniques and skills required for professional interpretation.

As a training system, the Lab 100 STS offers additional features beyond standard conference interpretation equipment, such as the integration of student response recording and the availability of alternate program sources, apart from the delegate’s microphones. These modifications transform a traditional conference system, allowing students to record their attempts at interpreting, and to listen to other sources for interpretation, such as CDs, cassette recorders, MSU files, among others.

The Lab 100 STS system is the first such system to integrate digital recording capabilities into interpreter training and effectively recreates the professional environment, allowing trainers to set up delegates, interpreters and observers in the session.
