Features and Benefits
Guided and Controlled Web Browsing. The Web Browser activity of SANAKO Study 500 contains all functions of a standard browser, as well as additional features, which allow the teacher to control students’ navigation. Tutors can easily launch the internet browser and direct students to specific pages, saving time and energy as writing the web addresses on blackboard is no longer necessary.
By using the Browser function, teachers can launch web browsers for students who can easily follow the teachers’ web navigation in real time. After the presentation, students can be left at a prescribed point to continue with independent study. The tutor can also create a list of denied or allowed web pages by using the Web Policy Selection in the SANAKO Study Web Browsing activity.
Screen Control and Monitoring. The teacher can collaborate with selected students by accessing their computers to help with a task on the student screen and at the same time communicate with the student. Monitoring students allows teachers to listen to selected students’ work and view their screens.
Adjustable Student Thumbnails in Separate Windows. Teachers can work with separate windows, making it easier to more effectively monitor student activity in the Study environment. Using a dual display system makes it easy to monitor, guide and support students while working with other applications on a separate display. The enhancement also allows teachers to adjust the size of student thumbnails for more focused monitoring of class activity.
Communication and Collaboration Reinforce Learning. SANAKO Study 500 offers different levels and methods of communication. Voice and chat communication are used to guide individual students through learning activities without class disruption. Text communication allows teachers to interact and monitor students without disturbing the entire class.
Voting enhances Student Engagement. A Voting feature in all Study products ensures more opportunities for student interaction and collaboration and encourages greater student participation and engagement. Students can use the feature to provide live feedback on the lesson and influence the pace of teaching.
Integration of Microsoft OneNote. SANAKO Study 500 gives more opportunities for teachers to provide effective and stimulating learning interactions. Microsoft OneNote is a tool for note taking, information gathering, and multi-user collaboration. Used with SANAKO Study 500, the application allows teachers to easily distribute their classroom notes to students in the SANAKO Study Live Learning session with a single mouse click.
